Civil Rights
Civil Rights currently under siege, particularly impacting Black individuals, include disproportionate arrests and killings by police, as well as issues surrounding voting and immigration. At BLFJ, we tirelessly seek justice both in and out of the courtroom, emphasizing activism and providing legal representation for victims.
Police Brutality
Police Brutality is one of the most demoralizing illegal practices systemically facing Black people today. We are passionate about protecting the constitutional rights of victims of malpolicing through direct legal representation and legislation. It is our mission to affect legislation on a federal and local level to end police brutality.
Activism & Advocacy
Our founders are volunteers are wholly committed to activism and advocacy. We have a deep history and are presently working on federal, state, and community levels to affect change.
